Our Open House
We had so much fun at our Open House on Oct. 13!
First of all, a big thank you to all of the amazing people who showed up to see our space and sample lots of goodies!
We were blown away by how many amazing people stopped by!
We stayed busy greeting attendees and giving tours from beginning to end!
And with all of the stairs in our space, we all got a great workout.
We loved getting to know all of the brides, former clients and vendors who stopped by.
Just how busy was it?
Check out this timelapse that Under the Garter created of the event.
The studio looked absolutely gorgeous during our Open House thanks to Privé Events.
They did such a lovely job decorating the space for our event.
Brittany and Suz specialize in wedding planning and floral design and we can't recommend them enough.
How gorgeous are these flowers they placed throughout the studio?
What takes a party from just so-so to great?
Luckily one of our members at Bliss Bridal Boutiques is a personal chef!
Ally Porter of Season to Taste, prepared the following delicious appetizers for the open house:
- Roasted pork tenderloin with a raspberry chipotle sauce
- Cucumber with homemade ricotta and fresh basil topped with roasted red pepper and a drizzle of olive oil
- Toasted French bread with butternut squash purée, sautéed brussels sprouts and dried cranberries topped with fresh parsley, rosemary and basil
As you can imagine, they were very popular and Ally stayed busy preparing food throughout the evening.
Want to pamper your friends during your bridal shower or bachelorette party?
Having your party catered by Season to Taste will make your event one to remember.
Want your party to be a little more hands on?
Ally also offers private cooking classes.
We couldn't have appetizers without dessert, so Jenny with Fluffed & Frosted created all of these adorable little mini cupcakes!
Jenny specializes in dessert bar styling and prepared cupcakes from her fall menu for the event.
Her fall menu includes all sorts of yummy flavors like:
- Sweet pumpkin cake topped with honey cream cheese frosting.
- Spiced apple cider cake paired with cinnamon buttercream.
- Apple cake topped with salted caramel buttercream.
- Fluffed & Frosted's version of the PSL: pumpkin espresso cake topped with vanilla buttercream.
And what should you pair with delicious food? How about whiskey from Laws Whiskey House where they take "an obsessive, hands-on approach to every aspect of whiskey production."
Julia with Laws Whiskey House spent the evening pouring whiskey in our beautiful patio.
We love that Laws Whiskey House is just as focused as we are on providing great customer service and an exceptional product.
Want to do something a little different for a bachelorette or bachelor party? Laws Whiskey House offers in-depth tours where they educate you on the entire whiskey-making process.
They also can etch their gorgeous bottles for wedding gifts.
We also had a ton of giveaways from lots of amazing vendors. We'll be contacting winners this week!
